After installing "skip Display_Config.exe" you can edit rd_config.txt:

api_name     = "OpenGL";
width        = 920;
height       = 690;
depth        = 32;
card_id      = 0;
fullscreen   = 0;

This is the recommended setting for a screen resolution of 1280 x 720.
